Title: Security Ops Center Specialist

Location: This position will work a onsite model. Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of 220 Virginia Ave Indianapolis, IN 46204 PulsePoint location.

The Security Ops Center Specialist is responsible for providing 24/7 security support and protecting the organizations physical assets by maintaining and safeguarding the physical of the facility.

How you will make an impact:  

  • Identifying, analyzing and reporting all incidents that could have a negative impact at company sites and on company assets.  
  • Assist in ensuring that the physical security systems remain operational across the enterprise which allows corporate leadership to make better informed decisions to mitigate risks to the company.  
  • Maintains a secure facility at all times; receive calls regarding security-related incidents occurring within the company and create incident reports utilizing incident management software.  
  • Monitor enterprise-wide physical security systems and dispatch the appropriate individual/organization for any emergency situations.
  • Activates alarms as necessary.
  • Provide continuous monitoring of company facilities, associates and other assets and respond accordingly to incidents that that may impact company assets.  
  • Conducts research and must be decisive on whether a situation presents a threat to company assets based on information available.
  • Thorough understanding of various software platforms used in GSOC is required.
  • Notifies corporate security leadership, as well as associates that may be affected by risks or threats in a timely manner.
  • Communication must be clear concise and accurate.  

Minimum Requirements:

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related field, with customer service experience.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Experience with Windows-based computer programs strongly preferred.  
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite software programs strongly preferred.
