Manager Implementation

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (1-2 days/week onsite in office). When reporting to the office, the location will be on Carelon PR building located on 654 Ave Munoz Rivera San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Schedule: This position will work a first shift but must be flexible to the US States time zones that the unit will be supporting.

The Manager Implementation is responsible for the development, execution, and management of account services activities, successfully implementing the strategy and managing the strategy on an on-going basis. 

How you will make an impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Directs the development, execution, and management of account services activities including program sales support, program implementation and account specific business plan development and execution.
  • Oversees the development of management control processes for customers and implementation plans to ensure customer needs are met, contractual obligations are attained or exceeded, and quality improvement initiatives are executed when needed.
  • Ensures effective pricing strategies meet program design requirements and effective collaboration with all entities.
  • Ensures completion of all critical deliverables from multiple disciplines to assure timely and accurate implementation of our customers' benefit plans. 
  • Oversees the development of responses to proposals based on customer expectations and requests. 
  • Develops budgets and retention goals for unit.
  •  Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience managing business operations and/or customer relationship; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. 
  • PC experience required. 

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • MBA, Project Management Professional (PMP) designation and state licensure to sell health benefits is preferred.
  • Experience managing senior level staff and health industry experience preferred.
  • Project management experience in health industry strongly preferred.
  • Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
  • Fully Bilingual (English & Spanish). Must be able to write, read and speak both languages in a proficiency level.
