Data Science Solutions Lead 

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following PulsePoint location. 705 5th Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98104

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Data Science Solutions Lead will build end-to-end solution architecture for any new business requirement for application development using both Cloud and Non-Cloud environments.

How you will make an impact:

•    Participate in all phases of the design and development life cycle of advanced analytic applications, utilizing various technology platforms.
•    Program processes for data setup and enable advanced analytic capabilities.
•    Collaborate with Data Scientists and engineers to create ideas for enabling capabilities.
•    Perform code reviews.
•    Maintain technical development environment and implementation plan.
•    Assist in developing training documentation and advise on best coding practices.
•    Develop and perform unit testing; fix defects identified during testing and re-execute unit tests to validate results.

Minimum Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in related occupation(s).

Additional Requirements: 

Five (5) years of experience must include: 
•    Five (5) years of experience with object-oriented programming, and Python programming.
•    Four (4) years of experience with Java. 
•    Two (2) years of experience with hadoop related technologies, including Spark, Hive, PIG, and MapReduce. 
•    Four (4) years of experience with SQL, including traditional data warehouse technologies and relational databases. 
•    One (1) year of experience with data science modeling techniques. 
•    One (1) year of experience with Cloud (AWS) Elastic Kubernetes Service, Docker, and Jenkins. 
•    Three (3) years of experience with developing API microservices using J2EE and Python Flask. 
•    Two (2) years of experience with operationalization of Machine Learning or Predictive Analytics models.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location, the salary* range for this specific position is $182,312 to $183,312.
