Staff VP Enterprise Strategy


Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following PulsePoint location. 2121 North California Boulevard, Walnut Creek, CA 94596


Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm


The Staff VP Enterprise Strategy will lead larger teams and high-value, complex, enterprise-wide level programs or projects that cross multiple business units.  

How you will make an impact:


•    Lead teams in conceiving, shaping, refining, and prioritizing enterprise-wide initiatives and innovation opportunities. 
•    Assist executive leadership in assessing the current environment, external factors, and competitor landscape.  
•    Engage business planning leaders across Commercial, Government, and Carelon business units to identify innovative growth and greater opportunities to achieve performance targets and gain market distinction.  
•    Provide direction and guidance to various BU leads in developing specific business plans and strategies. 
•    Lead market analysis initiatives targeted to driving growth. 
•    Develop or oversee the preparation of complex financial and investment models.  
•    Oversee the preparation of ROI analyses for senior management.  
•    Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate the performance of direct reports. 
•    Will supervise 3-4 employees (Consultant, Manager, Director and Senior Director)

Minimum Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Natural Sciences, or related field. Ten (10) years of experience in related occupation(s).

Additional Requirements: 


Ten (10) years of experience must include: 


•    Ten (10) years of healthcare industry and/or health sciences experience. 
•    Five (5) years of large-scale project management and strategic planning experience. 
•    Five (5) years of experience applying strategic frameworks and conducting competitive landscape analyses.
•    Five (5) years of experience with large healthcare data sets and financial data. 
•    Five (5) years of experience with the application of data to inform business decisions of publicly traded companies, privately owned companies, and government bodies. 
•    Five (5) years of experience with national healthcare payers working with digital or technology implementation, consumer experience, quality of care, and medical management. 
•    Five (5) years of consulting firm management experience.
•    TRAVEL: Requires domestic travel up to 50% of the time.

ALTERNATE EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Business, Data Science, Natural Sciences, or a related field plus eight (8) years of healthcare industry and/or health sciences experience. Must have skills listed above.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location, the salary* range for this specific position is $261,722 to $262,722.
