Health Information Consultant Senior


Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following PulsePoint location. 8600 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., S. Tower, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60631


Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm


The Health Information Consultant Senior will identify opportunities to improve healthcare affordability through the analysis of data and transforming business intelligence into action plans. 


How you will make an impact:


•    Provide strategic recommendations for improving healthcare affordability to executives and professional clients. 
•    Collaborate with the data warehouse analysts in establishing business rules and monitoring adherence. 
•    Translate data trends into strategic recommendations for program development and action plans. 
•    Perform strategic data analysis (data mining) and research as appropriate to support business needs including disease management and provider profiling. 
•    Track and prioritize projects through coordination and negotiation with clients to improve efficiency and serve as subject matter expert. 
•    Develop an understanding of relevant business processes, goals, and strategies in order to provide analysis and interpretation.

Minimum Requirements: 


Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related. Five (5) years of experience in related occupation(s).

Additional Requirements: 


Five (5) years of experience in related occupation(s) must include: 


•    Five (5) years of experience in an analytical role. 
•    Two (2) years of experience implementing Excel functions and macros to help solve complex problems and present information in a user-friendly format. 
•    Two (2) years of experience developing dashboard capabilities utilizing Tableau, Power BI, or Business Objects.
•    Two (2) years of experience using SAS or Teradata SQL. 
•    Two (2) years of experience with data reporting. 
•    Two (2) years of experience working with NCQA Accreditation, HEDIS, and reporting.
•    Requires 5% domestic travel.
