As the National General Manager for Specialty Infusion Operations, you will command operations on a nationwide scale, managing multiple specialty infusion pharmacies in various states, whilst upholding non-resident pharmacy state licensure.  The role carries the critical responsibility of managing pharmacy operations correlating to clinical program implementations, ensuring that the responses being provided are tailored to health care plan needs, and satisfy all clinical quality standards.

In addition to arranging and streamlining our multi-location, multi-state, high-touch therapeutic operations, this leader will spearhead strategic initiatives to scale the business. The role involves transformational work, and you will be instrumental in escalating the business through several growth stages.  This role aims to infuse the perfect blend of your clinical pharmacy knowledge and strategic abilities to elevate the standard of our services. This position will work from our Corporate Offices in Plano, TX.  Internal facing title is Director of Pharmacy Operations.

How you will make an impact:

  • Oversight of specialty therapy referral and dispensing teams responsible for supporting IVIG, bleeding disorders, and other high-touch complex infusion therapies.

  • Significant collaboration and coordination with cross-functional teams and leaders including but not limited to Sales, Clinical Compliance & Quality, Patient Access & Reimbursement, RCM, Infusion Center Operations, IT, Implementation, and Procurement.

  • Oversight and participation in strategic growth initiatives in alignment with annual operational performance and financial goals.

  • Oversight of Specialty infusion P&L.

  • Delivery of services to support high patient satisfaction with specialty infusion pharmacy.

  • Oversight of specialty infusion pharmacy people, process, and technology activities to meet and/or exceed key performance indicators.

  • Maintenance of pharmacy licensure and support for all activities related to accreditation and certifications associated with specialty pharmacy locations.

  • Management of specialty staffing needs and development of staffing to support growth.

Requires a PharmD, RPh or other advanced degree in a health related field and minimum of 5 years of experience in managed care; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Must possess an active unrestricted state license to practice pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh).

Preferred skills and experiences:

-Experience overseeing muti-location multi-state, high-touch therapeutic operations for a Specialty, Infusion, IVIG, or Hemophilia Pharmacies

-Knowledge of infusion reimbursement

-Experience in organizational design associated with high-growth team

-Experience leading large strategic initiatives, arranging and streamlining operations to scale a business, and enterprise-wide integration work streams

-Experience with transformational work during high-growth business expansions and acquisitions
